TRUSTEES

The Trust’s Board of Trustees is composed of 11 members. Five of them are public officials and include:

- Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of Puerto Rico
- President of the University of Puerto Rico
- President of the Government Development Bank, Puerto Rico
- Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO)
- Executive Director of the Office of Budget and Management, Puerto Rico

The other six members, named by the Board of Directors come from the academic sector and the science industry. They are:

Dr. Lester Martínez, former Commanding General of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materials Command.

Dr. Fabrizio Bonanni, Senior VP of Global Manufacturing for Amgen.

Dr. Emma Fernández-Repollet, Vice President of Research and Technology of the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Paul Lizardi, Professor of Pathology at Yale University, and co-founder, director and chairman, Scientific Advisory Board of Agilix    Corporation

Gil Medina, former Secretary of Commerce of the State of New Jersey, and current Executive Managing Director Cushman and Wakefield,
    Inc. in New Jersey

Dr. Mariano García-Blanco, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, Professor of Medicine, and Director of the Duke
   Center for RNA Biology at Duke University Medical Center, and Professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical
   School
